Oregon Grape Root: Berberis Aquifolium

Evergreen shrub native to North America, it  was used by the Native Americans as an anti-septic, detoxifier and tonic. It is a strong anti-bactirial and used externally to disinfect open wounds, boils, acne, and eczema.
